UC Browser is a very fast and convenient web browser based on the Chromium project. Initially it made its debut on mobile devices, including the Windows Phone platform. It is now also available for PCs.
Although UC Browser is based on the Chromium project and is very similar to it, in many cases there are significant differences. The application does not offer data synchronization within your Google Account, but instead you can use the synchronization service offered by the manufacturer in your cloud. This option allows you to access the same pages, bookmarks, tabs and history on multiple devices.
The program also allows for more personalisation possibilities than Chrome, e.g. by disabling the extension bar and the search engine. The manufacturer has equipped the browser with several interesting add-ons.
The first one is Thunder system, which accelerates downloading files to your computer's hard drive. The program has a special menu with options for accelerating the loading of pages thanks to the initial loading. UC Browser also supports many useful keyboard shortcuts and mouse gestures to help you navigate your browser even faster.
In the program you will even find a built-in add-on to block advertisements on websites. By default, it automatically blocks pop-ups that open on pages without user permission. Thanks to the fact that UC Browser is based on Chromium, it can use extensions created with this browser in mind.
Nothing stands in the way of installing add-ons such as Pushbullet, Evernote, Feedly in your browser. The program also has two modes of operation of the new card's website. One of the most recently visited sites and the other giving instant access to the most popular sites in the world.
