SARDU is a small and easy-to-install bootable media development tool that includes Windows or Linux operating system, antivirus, diagnostic and repair software. This tool supports media such as CDs/DVDs, memory cards and USB drives, allowing you to place many different components on them. Such a medium can be successfully used to correct errors that prevent booting the operating system, removing viruses, restoring the contents of partitions and entire hard disks from backups and even installing the operating system.
The last option may be useful for users with computers (e.g. netbooks) not equipped with a CD/DVD drive. The SARDU is ideal for creating bootable USB storage media that can be used to install the operating system.
The program supports Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8 environments and the following Linux distributions - Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Mint, Fedora, Damn Small Linux and others. Only an ISO image with the software is required. If you don't have it - nothing lost, SARDU will download ISO files from the Internet (except for images of Windows installation discs).
