mIRC is one of the most popular IRC (Internet Relay Chat) clients for Windows, which has been continuously developed for over 15 years. The program has a user-friendly, fully configurable graphical interface, and allows you to extend its functionality through extensions and scripts created in your own scripting language. With its help we can easily communicate with people from all over the world by connecting to the so-called IRC channels, conduct text conversations with one or more users at the same time, organize our own lists of friends, as well as transfer files and communicate by voice.

mIRC allows you to connect to multiple channels at the same time, each of them is available on a separate card, IPv6 support, SSL encryption, proxy servers, UTF-8, UPnP, configuring sounds, notifying when a new message arrives, and saving calls to logs, etc. The mIRC can also be used to connect to multiple channels. As a big advantage of the application, apart from extensions that add an MP3 player or DCC servers, is the support of scripts, which users can write on their own in order to e.g.

automate individual operations. Unfortunately, the program is officially available only in English language version.
