Bisq (formerly Bitsquare) is a decentralized cryptovalute exchange - bitcoina, monero, litecoina and others - which only mediates the exchange between its users. All funds remain in portfolios controlled only by their owners, and safe deposits are made through multi-signature bitcoin addresses. Of course, it is also possible to use traditional currencies (dollars, euros or zlotys) in transactions, e.g.

by bank transfers (but not only). The developers of this open source project develop it entirely according to the will of the users - it is a decentralised organisation, in which binding decisions are made by way of shareholder voting, carried out by means of special BSQ tokens. As a result, Bisq does not need any registration or verification of users, operates independently of any authorities, and the transactions contained therein cannot be blocked or censored.

All communication is also encrypted and redirected through the Tor network to avoid the interest of inquisitive third parties. As a result, no one except the partners in the transaction will know their data, and they disclose only as much as they consider necessary. Any problems are solved through a decentralised arbitration system.
