BitBank is a small application that allows you to quickly and securely archive valuable data on external servers. This prevents the consequences of unforeseen data loss caused by a crash, virus activity or computer theft. Operation of the program is very simple and comes down to indicating the data that will be taken into account when creating backup copies and setting the dates when they will be created.

BitBank is visible as an icon in the notification area, where it performs automatic archiving according to the schedule, without disturbing the user in any way in his work. The advantage of BitBank is quite a lot of configuration possibilities of the program's work schedule. Each of the declared tasks, apart from different data for archiving and deadlines for its execution, allows also to run scripts and set different filters.

The latter allow the user to define specific files and extensions to be taken into account or omitted when creating a backup, to exclude specific folders or to decide whether the program should also copy hidden files. The program ensures high security of data transferred to external servers. Like most applications of this type, BitBank encrypts files with an AES algorithm before sending them.

The connection is secured by SSL. An important feature of the application is saving files in the same folder structure as on the computer, which makes the restored data have the same form as the original.
