VUPlayer is a lightweight and minimalistic music player for Windows that offers support for the most popular file formats - including MOD, MTM, S3M, XM, IT, MO3, MP3, MP4, MPC, OGG, FLAC, APE, WV, AIFF, WMA, WAV and MIDI. It also supports Audio-CD playback. The application was created with a great emphasis on simplicity, so it offers in most cases only the necessary functions for convenient music playback.

The main program window, apart from the navigation panel and the playlist, contains a tree with library contents and an area in which we will display e.g. an oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer or album artwork. VUPlayer is very good at playing single files, as well as those containing thousands of songs in the playlist.

It has support for keystroke shortcuts to make the player more user-friendly and offers sound standardization features (ReplayGain). The creator made the application available in a standard form for installation, as well as in a portable form, which is ready to work right after downloading.
