SharePoint Administration Toolkit is a tool helpful in administration and management of Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and Office SharePoint Server 2007. It enables, among others, wholesale operations on site collections and correction of alert settings after changing the site address. Version 2.0 adds a new component, the User Profile Replication Engine, which enables replication of user profiles between different Shared Services Providers.

This functionality is intended only for the full version of SharePoint. Other novelties also available in WSS include the possibility of adjusting the installation in terms of components and folder location for UPRE, as well as its simplification - there is no longer a need to run psconfig or stsadm as in previous editions.
