Small Basic is an exceptionally simple version of the BASIC programming language for those who have little or no experience in programming. Developed at the end of 2008 by DevLabs, Microsoft Small Basic is equipped with a ribbon, an intuitive interface known, among others, from Microsoft Office 2007. The language itself is based on just fifteen keywords, and the goal of its authors is a programming environment for anyone who would like to start learning programming - especially for children who participated in the language testing process.
An introduction to the Small Basic language is also available for those interested.
