XtremeMark is a tool for testing computer performance with a special focus on the CPU unit by performing large amounts of parallel computing and more. This is a good proposal for those who would like to test, even out of pure curiosity, the performance of their PC. The application will test both newer and older processors on 32 and 64-bit operating systems without any problems.
XtremeMark supports multi-core and multi-threaded CPUs (up to 16 cores or parallel threads). One of the main advantages of this program is the multitude of options: the user can choose the number of threads to be tested, and also decide how many calculations to be made as part of the CPU performance check (from 10 million to 100 billion).
XtremeMark generates a short report containing detailed information about the result after the test. It can be exported to a separate file in TXT or RTF format to be made available on the Internet (e.g. by e-mail or on a discussion forum) or printed out.
