WinAPE is an emulator of one of the first home computers, that is Amstrad CPC. The program, which was designed using Debugger and Assembler, works with all 32-bit Windows operating systems. The tool allows you to emulate any CPC model, i.e.

CPC 464/664 and 6128, CPC 464+ and 6128+. Emulation (including screen and digital sound effects) is very accurate, so Windows users can experience the same experience as the former owners of any Amstrad CPC computer. Please note that WinAPE supports the following disk images:

DSK, EDSK, ARC and DSC. At the same time, it supports data archives saved in formats: ZIP, ARJ, JAR, CAB, BH, GZ, Z, LHA, ARC, TAR, ZOO and UUE.

It also allows you to configure your gaming controls as you like by assigning any keys on your keyboard to CPC keys. All configuration settings can be made while the application is running. According to the manufacturer, WinAPE is one of the fastest CPC emulators for popular "windows" and it is not difficult to agree with this statement, because the described tool actually works relatively quickly and without problems.
