WinArchiver is a functional program for data compression, allowing you to conveniently create and manage the content of compressed archives. It offers support for most of the most popular archive formats - ZIP, RAR, 7Z, ARJ, CAB and many others, also enabling comprehensive support for disk images. The application offers an interface and functionality similar to the one found in the most well-known programs of this type - WinRAR or WinZip.

WinArchiver has the option of opening, creating and managing the content of compressed files, as well as securing access to them with a password. What's more, it's equipped with a set of functions to handle disk images. They allow you to burn images to discs, create images from files on discs, as well as create virtual drives (up to a maximum of 23) and mount images and archives in them.

WinArchiver allows you to create archives of ZIP, 7Z, ISO and MZP and extract data from compressed files in ZIP, RAR, 7Z, MZP, ISO, XDI, ARJ, BZ2, BZIP2, GZ, GZIP, TAR, TAZ, TBZ formats, TBZ2, TGZ, TPZ, CAB, CPIO, DEB, LHA, LZH, OBR, SWM, WIM, Z, DAA, BIN, CUE, MDF, MDS, BWI, B5I, LCD, IMG, CDI, CIF, P01, PDI, NRG, NCD, PXI, GI, FCD, VCD, C2D, DMG, BIF, IMA, FLP and UIF.
