WaveCut Audio Editor is a sound editing application for computers with Windows operating system. WaveCut Audio Editor is based on the MIDI interface, allowing visual editing of several recordings at the same time (cutting, copying, pasting, deleting, mixing, mute, trimming), as well as allowing quick data exchange via the built-in clipboard. MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA, AIFF, M4A, AAC, AC3, APE, MPC, FLAC, WV, OPUS, TTA, ALAC and SPEEX. The list of supported output formats is much poorer and is limited to the two most popular ones, i.e. MP3 and WAV.

How long it will take to perform individual operations in WaveCut Audio Editor is determined by the speed of the hard drive. This would not be possible without the fact that the tool supports multi-core processors and advanced sets of SIMD instructions. Manufacturers also recommend moving the temporary folder to the SSD.
