WaveShop is a simple and open source audio editor based on the "bit-perfect" principle. It offers the user all the necessary functions and tools to modify audio files, cut out unnecessary fragments or adjust many other settings, such as sound channels. At first glance, the application may seem archaic, due to the slightly ascetic graphical interface.

Nothing more wrong, WaveShop, despite its outdated appearance, offers functionality that in most cases outperforms competitive solutions of this type. However, it is worth mentioning that the editor works according to the "bit-perfect" philosophy. It ensures that when editing audio files, only the fragment on which we actually operated will be modified.

The rest of the soundtrack will remain untouched. WaveShop has functions for normalizing and amplifying sound, DC Offset repair, mute selected fragments, peak statistics, RMS with histogram, inversion and inversion. There were also tools for adding/deleting/sub-varying audio channels, saving selected channels as mono files, format conversion, changing sample values and the real-time spectrum analyzer option.
