Wave Editor is a fully free Windows tool based on the Active X engine for editing audio files. The manufacturer made every effort to ensure that the program is both functional and fast and trouble-free. It will perform basic operations on a selected sound file, such as cutting, copying, pasting or deleting, as well as a number of other actions.
Among the available options you will find: insert silence, normalize, strengthen, save the selected fragment, invert, rotate, undo, restore (unlimited), play, stop, pause, zoom in and out. There were also "fade in" and "fade out" functions and the possibility of exporting to a WAV or MP3 file.

The program supports both eight-bit and sixteen-bit files in mono and stereo mode with sample rates from 8000 to 96000 Hz.
