Wappalyzer is a small extension for Firefox web browser that displays information about the web technologies used to create the website you are currently visiting. The plugin's operation is very simple and is based on an analysis of the source code opened in the web browser tab. The Wappalyzer searches for code elements typical of various technologies and on this basis bases the information provided by the Wappalyzer.

The user can learn about the server software, statistics provider, web framework, JS, database system, etc. used by the creators of the selected website, as well as their versions. Wappalyzer is an extension that does not require configuration and is very easy to use.

After installation, a small icon is displayed in the browser window, which click displays a window with previously described information.
