UsbFix is a free tool for analyzing and removing infections from removable media such as flash drives, external drives and memory cards. The program offers several modes of operation. One of them is a search - during the operation of this mechanism UsbFix checks the user's computer for infections (for this purpose it searches the active processes, registry and applications launched during system startup) and creates a report containing information on this subject.

Another option is cleaning, which removes found hazards. In addition, the tool allows you to find objects (files, folders) located directly on local and removable drives, which can be useful when analyzing security issues. UsbFix also offers the possibility to protect the removable media against future infections by creating a hidden, blocked autorun.inf directory on it and disabling the option of autoplaying removable media in Windows.
