USB Safeguard Free is a free edition of an interesting tool for encrypting data stored on portable USB drives with a maximum capacity of 2 GB. It is a perfect solution for users who want to easily and quickly secure confidential data stored e.g. on USB flash drives against unauthorized access.

The program is very easy to use, does not require any specialist knowledge and is distributed in the form of a portable, not requiring installation on a computer. Once you've downloaded the tool, simply copy it to the data carrier you want to protect and run. The only action to be performed by the user is to enter a password, giving access to the contents of the disk.

When the media is encrypted, its contents are not visible, except for the Safeguard USB Launcher, which now allows you to unblock data. USB Safeguard uses the AES-256 encryption algorithm to support all types of USB drives (except bootable and partitioned devices) with the FAT16/32 file system.
