SynWrite is a free and multifunctional text and source code editor, which can serve as an alternative to the notepad built into the operating system. The program is designed for users writing various texts on a computer, as well as for programmers and webmasters creating or modifying source codes of programs or websites. SynWrite supports different encoding standards and offers the ability to write texts and modify the code at the same time using active bookmarks.
The editor highlights syntaxes for many programming languages, exports the created document to RTF and HTML formats (with colored syntax), checks spelling and spelling, supports Polish characters when writing text as well as HTML, CSS and XSL. In addition, SynWrite allows you to automatically complete the text and source code, color the preview of changes made to the document, and has various modes for easy text editing (column mode, line mode and standard mode). The program could not lack ready-made source code templates, as well as additional tools to display the structure in the form of a tree or to search for any characters, words and regular expressions.
