SysHardener is a free tool, thanks to which we can increase security and make our computer less vulnerable to cybercriminals' attacks. The most important feature offered by SysHardener is the ability to disable unnecessary options run by the Windows operating system. You can also protect individual applications (e.g.

Microsoft Office or Acrobat Reader) to reduce the risk of your hard drive being infected with various viruses. SysHardener also allows you to introduce restrictions to Microsoft Office suite (disabling macros, OLE and ActiveX), block outgoing calls for selected applications by the Windows firewall, deactivate the ability to run JS, VBE, VBS and WSH scripts, as well as prevent opening selected files (DOC, XLS, VBS, JS, JSE, WSF), through which malware is spread. Importantly, SysHardener allows you to select the most important functions with just one click, so there is no need to define individual step-by-step program options.

This is a good solution for less demanding customers. If necessary (e.g. if selected applications are not working properly), you can restore the default configuration.
