After the Star Wars featured battles with clones, a FPP shooter with these well-trained but identical soldiers quickly appeared on the market. In the game world of this type, Star Wars: Republic Commando managed to follow a slightly different path.
First of all, we got a title focused on more tactical gameplay and giving orders to team members. It was necessary to take on the role of commander. Under this was balanced the level of difficulty of the game.
The style of chasing in front of you and shooting is not necessary, as the enemy's attacks bring you to your knees very quickly. Luckily, you don't die right away, because the companions can raise us, but by calling for help under fire we risk liquidation of the whole unit. It is therefore advisable to be careful to look around each time you enter a new area.
The highest point is sent by a sniper, behind the cover he puts the thrower with grenades, and the staff of the cannon near him orders a third one, only opening the gates behind which the predominant enemy forces lurk. You must always adapt to the situation, sometimes blowing up the walls in order to get the enemy out of the flanks. Enjoy graphics and music, with locations, characters and weapons modelled on film.
The trial version allows you to take part in a long mission to Kashyyk, the planet of the Wookie race. It gives a big insight into the mechanics of the game.
