BioWare Studio, associated mainly with great RPG games, decided to fulfill the dreams of all fans of Star Wars under the wings of Electronic Arts and developed for them the project MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic. However, the production devised as a paid one was not able to fully develop its wings in the subscription model, so it quickly switched to Free-2-Play.
This movement attracted thousands of new fans. In order not to enter the parade of filmmakers, the filmmakers withdrew the events presented in the game by more than 35 centuries. It's all about giving players the peace of mind to lead the heroes they've created the way they want.
There are two main factions to choose from, the Republic and the Sithies, but belonging to any of them does not block the paths of development. In other words, there is no problem that from the bright side of power suddenly try to switch to the dark, if someone suddenly discovers that being bad is more in his taste. As a standard, the character gains experience in combat and must be constantly developed to be able to cope with increasingly difficult missions and tasks.
Although most players entertain with Star Wars: the Old Republic rather with the vision of waving enemies in front of their noses with a light sword, this is only one of the paths of development. Equally attractive is digital life as a reward hunter or simply a cosmic adventurer.
It is worth remembering about cooperation with others, because, as it happens in MMO, some challenges can be overcome only in a harmonious group. At the same time, however, the creators made sure that the player does not have to rely on interaction with others if he does not want to. A complex storyline theme, improved by successive extensions, will provide many hours of entertainment also for loners.
There are many background heroes to get to know. The free edition of the game must of course have some limitations, because otherwise nobody would decide on options available only for a fee. First of all, it's about the limit of two characters per account, keeping cash with them, as well as slower gaining experience.
The functionality of the free Star Wars: The Old Republic is also limited in a few other things, but all this does not prevent you from reaching the maximum hero level. You just have to play.
To have fun, you will need to register and have a free account on the Origin platform. Owners of Electronic Arts games, such as Battlefield or FIFA, which also need it, have probably already established them for a long time.
