SpiderOak is an advanced tool for storing files in the cloud. The action is similar to the popular Dropbox. The program has a number of features that allow you to have extensive control over the stored files online.

Unlike the competition, it allows not only to synchronize data, but also to create backup copies of files, monitor the transfer of materials or easily share them with friends. The interface of the program is divided into 5 tabs, each of which provides separate functions. In the first one - Status - we can view the progress of data synchronization, set files in the queue, and familiarize ourselves with log files.

The Backup tab allows us to select the files we want to back up. You can choose your own directories or the default ones for Windows - for example, My Documents. SpiderOak also supports selected data formats - movies and music.

Subsequent tabs will allow us to preview the synchronized folders, information about synchronization and the choice of people with whom we want to share files. From the program preference level, we can change the interface elements (automatic start during logging in, support for keyboard shortcuts) or individual functions. For example, we may block the copying of oversized files or older materials stored on your computer.

Subsequent changes may involve queuing files, connecting to the network or copying archived data. You can also edit the account settings from the program level, the registration of which is a prerequisite for using SpiderOak.
