Spikit is a computer program that uses speech to control a personal computer. The application recognizes voice commands issued in Polish and has unprecedented configuration possibilities anywhere else. The programme will be appreciated by enthusiasts of new technologies.

With Spikit, anyone can afford to work with a computer without touching it and perform most of their daily tasks with their own voice commands (or those supplied with the program). As soon as the program hears our speech, it searches for pre-established commands and takes appropriate actions related to computer operation, e.g. moves the mouse cursor, presses the selected keystroke, enters the pre-established text in the appropriate place or runs the installed programs.

The program cooperates with the search provider DuckDuckGo and offers the possibility of voice search from any application (so called Bang commands). Spikit also has advanced dictation capabilities, both via the network speech recognition module and the local dictionary. It is worth noting that Spikit constantly monitors the location of windows and controls on the computer screen.

Thanks to this, we can navigate the computer screen with the mouse cursor by simply speaking the names of those elements (e.g. icons) that we are looking at at at. As the manufacturer assures, thanks to the unique mechanism of writing the list of commands, unique structure and a wealth of functions, Spikit gives the possibility to turn even the oldest PC set into a modern, multimedia entertainment center controlled by voice, and a properly composed set of voice commands enables full use of the computer in office work.

The program includes a speech synthesizer that cooperates with voices available on the market compatible with the SAPI interface. When enabled, it can repeat program messages, recognized commands, or individual user responses assigned to commands. Spikit also offers its users a simple API, thanks to which it is possible to establish communication with the program and redirect the recognized speech to their own applications.

Thanks to this, anyone with basic programming knowledge can create their own unique voice assistant on the basis of Spikit or, for example, control automation at home. The free version of Spikit has all the possibilities of its paid equivalent and can be used for any length of time. The program instantly recognizes user-defined voice commands and offers advanced dictation functions.
