Shortcut Cleaner is a simple tool for searching and removing shortcuts to applications modified by malware. The application scans several system locations and removes them automatically if modified shortcuts are detected. Shortcut Cleaner generates a log file called sc-cleaner.txt on the desktop after the hard disk cleaning process is completed.
It contains all information about abbreviations that have been detected and deleted. The tool is used to clean shortcuts replaced by domains such as search.certified-toolbar.com, widdit.com, searchcompletion.com, complitly.com, newhometab.com, dtinstaller.com, chipinstaller.com, homebase-apps.com, helperbar.com and 22find.com.
