Microsoft's program for creating multimedia photo shows, available free of charge as part of the Add-ons for original Windows. PhotoStory is aimed at home users who would like to present their photos (e.g. from a holiday trip) in an attractive form of a "multimedia story".

The program is very easy to use, and the whole process of preparation is closed in a few steps from importing photos or basic processing (trimming, rotation, reduction of the so-called red eyes effect, applying filters and adding subtitles), through the ability to record your own narration, ending with enriching the whole with a selected background music. The finished show can be saved in a video file, sent by e-mail or saved in a format designed for mobile devices. In order for the program to work properly, the latest DirectX libraries and Windows Media Player 10 player are required.
