Phototheca is a small graphic browser, which is characterized by high speed of operation. Offers features to conveniently manage a large number of digital photos, as well as view and present them as a slideshow. The foundation of this simple application is an interesting mechanism of cataloguing photographs.

With its help we can select the import of photos and assign them to selected events or albums. The latter are nothing more than standard catalogues with graphics. It is worth mentioning, however, the event mode, which gives the possibility of organizing photographs of a given event, e.g.

wedding, childbirth, holiday trip, etc., and then presenting it on the timeline or calendar built into Phototheca. You can of course easily convert events into albums. Other features that Phototheca is equipped with include a full-screen slide show with selected photographs.

There were also options of setting the photo as desktop wallpaper. Unfortunately, the application supports only a handful of the most popular graphic formats (JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP), among which you will not find RAW files from digital cameras. The free version also has a limited library size - 5 thousand images.
