PhotoKit is a graphical viewer available for all system platforms with an extremely simple yet clear user interface. It allows you to display graphics files in the most popular formats (including BMP, GIF, ICO, JPEG, JPG, MNG, PBM, PGM, PNG, PPM, TGA, TIF, TIFF, XBM and XPM) together with the EXIF data stored in them. The application operates in full screen mode.
Navigation is possible from the menu located at the top left of the program window. The most important features of PhotoKit are 3D effects when viewing a collection of photographs and the ability to display images as a slideshow. At the moment, the browser only offers the possibility of displaying graphics, however, as the author has announced, it will be enriched with mechanisms for organizing and managing images with subsequent releases.
The PhotoKit browser is distributed in a portable form, which does not require installation in the system, and its big advantage is its small size. In most cases, the application runs smoothly, but during tests with a large number of high-resolution photos, the application was able to freeze. It is also worth noting that it is not suitable for older computers with small amounts of hardware resources.
