PhotoLapse is a small and very simple tool for creating videos based on photos in JPEG format. The program is very often used by photographers to generate so-called time-lapse animations, i.e. animations created on the basis of a set of photographs of the same frame taken at different (usually short) intervals.

Operation of the program has been simplified to such an extent that there are almost no configuration options for generated animations. Apart from the option of loading a set of images to the list and its basic operation, the application has only the possibility of defining FPS values or forcing the conversion of images to run "from the end". PhotoLapse allows you to save your video with the use of filters/multimedia codecs available on your computer (by default, full, uncompressed frames are saved).
