A variant of the popular OpenOffice office suite, developed by the Polish company OpenOffice Polska. It is one of the most serious (besides the paid StarOffice package) competitors of MS Office. The package includes independent applications:

text processor Writer, spreadsheet Calc, database module Base, graphic program Draw, as well as a program for creating presentations Impress. It is also worth paying attention to such modules as: HTML editor or a module for creating mathematical formulas of Formula.

It enables, among others: export to PDF, contains also improved MS Office format filters as well as support for MS Office 2003 (XML) documents. Since version 2.0 the OpenDocument format is supported natively.
