Not So Flat is a good and clever platformer with a mainly logical base, but also with a certain admixture of arcade elements. We will lead here a certain square guy who, curious about the outside world, decides to set off on a distant journey full of dangers. Our main task is to happily lead him to the exit from any, even the most twisted system.
It would be much simpler if it were not for the fact that the world of our square is gradually turning into a three-dimensional universe, in which unfortunately it is very easy to lose one's way. This is how a simple 2D platformer becomes a complicated, multi-faceted puzzle. The hero encounters a number of obstacles, blockades and ambushes on his way, which should be cleverly avoided by means of appropriate curvature of the space in which he is just being placed.
Thanks to these movements, we are able to transform any collapses or obstructions into segments that allow us to get into previously inaccessible nooks and crannies of the board. As the game progresses, the challenges become more complex, and the hand to hand turns into more and more breakneck missions. Many times, especially in the second part of the game, collecting all the elements allowing to open the portal will require from the player a lot of brilliance and a lot of thought.
The project is characterized by economical, but at the same time impressive graphic design, and thanks to a professional combination of logical and arcade elements, the title should appeal to many fans of logical platformers.
