MyStart is a small application by Daniel Zaborowski, which was created as a replacement for the Start button and the associated menu. Unlike the default Windows solution, it offers a much more intuitive interface and easy access to the most frequently used programs. Like the Start menu used on Windows 7 or older systems, MyStart displays a list of documents and applications we've been working with recently.
In addition, the user is provided with a full list of software installed on the computer, a separate list of applications with Modern UI interface (function for Windows 8), a built-in search engine that allows for efficient finding of selected programs and files, as well as useful shortcuts to key system tools - my computer, control panel, section 'Windows Update', 'Default programs' and 'Devices and printers'. There was also the option to turn off the computer, from which, among other things, we will logout the user, restart the computer, hibernate it or set it to sleep mode. Another feature that esteates will certainly enjoy the availability of is the support of graphic motifs.
We have at our disposal a set of clear and interestingly looking skins, with the help of which each user will adjust the appearance of the Start menu to individual preferences. Importantly, MyStart is a replacement for the Start menu in Windows 7. For Windows 8, the application introduces this mechanism, which by default is not available in the operating environment at all.
