mytribe is a communicator created on behalf of Grupa Onet S.A. - publisher of one of the most popular Internet portals in Poland. Its rich functionality should please users who would like to have access to multiple web services from a single application.

mytribe allows you to communicate via text messages with friends using Gadu-Gadu, Tlena, ICQ, AIM, Yahoo! Messenger, Jabbera etc., as well as follow their activities on the most popular social networking sites (such as Facebook, Nasza Klasa, Fotka.pl, Goldenline, Sympatia.pl, Twitter) and blogging platforms. In addition, it also allows you to view the content of your mailbox and information distributed through RSS feeds.

The user is informed almost in real time about every new comment, blog entry or e-mail. MD5 encrypted access data used in the program can be saved on an external server. Thanks to this, e.g.

after reinstallation of the system and installation of the instant messenger, the user only enters the password to his mytribe account and automatically gets access to his profiles. The program is currently being developed simultaneously in English and Polish, offering a graphical interface similar to the one known from Skype. One of the disadvantages of mytribe is the significant need for system resources.
