MySQL Workbench is a tool for managing and modeling MySQL databases. It allows you to edit the configuration of the server and its components, design and create schemas (visual representations of tables, views, etc.) of new databases, perform documentation of existing databases and provide support for migration processes to MySQL. OpenGL graphical engine, support for reverse-engineering and database synchronization processes, the ability to generate SQL scripts, review mode in which the entire database model is presented in one cross-sectional view, support for database design at conceptual, logical and physical levels, expandable architecture, model export as a CREATE type SQL script, DBDesigner4 model import and export, visual representation of tables, views, embedded procedures and functions and full support for MySQL 5 capabilities. The application combines the capabilities of tools that were no longer available within MySQL GUI Tools. MySQL Workbench features MySQL Administrator and MySQL Query Browser.

Despite the fact that in some versions there are problems with application stability, it is still the best tool for the administrator and MySQL programmer, a must for any environment equipped with MySQL server.
