muCommander is a free, multiplatform file manager offering many possibilities known from such applications as Norton Commander or Total Commander. In addition to basic options such as copying, moving, renaming files, creating and deleting directories, sending files by mail, muCommander also offers the function of creating and unpacking ZIP (on the fly), RAR, TAR, GZip, BZip2, ISO, NRG, Ar, Deb and LST file archives and the ability to restrict data transfer or copying. muCommander supports FTP, SFTP, SMB, NFS, HTTP and Bonjour protocols.
