MeOCR is a tool for converting scanned documents into editable text files using Optical Character Recognition (OCR). Thanks to this program we will be able to save a lot of time, which we would normally spend on manual transcription. MeOCR is very easy to use.

Simply scan the document or place any graphics with text (left side of the interface), then select "OCR - Convert to Text" or press the F5 button on the keyboard. A moment later, on the right side of the main application window, the content of the screenshot will appear in text form. You can save it in TXT or Word format.

MeOCR supports the most popular image file formats, including BMP, TIFF, JPEG, GIF and PNG. Noteworthy is the quick operation of this tool and the fact that the output file is not devoid of the formatting contained in the source document (not all OCR applications contain such a solution). Interestingly, MeOCR has a built-in text editor, so you can make the necessary corrections without having to run another program.

The tool supports a variety of languages, including, of course, English, French, Spanish, Italian and more.
