An archive of Polish authorship with a very high compression level. The packing power of files may exceed the capabilities of such programs as 7zip or UHARC. Due to the high compression power KGB Archiver has high hardware requirements.

The author recommends using the program at a minimum of 256 MB RAM and 1.5 GHz processor. A great advantage of the application is a simple interface and the ability to encode archives with a strong, symmetric block code AES-256 (Advanced Encryption Standard). Unfortunately, the time of waiting for a ready archive is quite long if the data is large.

The program has support for ZIP format, allows for compression in many modes and password protection of archives.
