HiDownload (HD) is a program designed to accelerate the download of individual files (or lists of files) by dividing individual resources into smaller parts and simultaneously downloading them. The application supports protocols such as HTTP, FTP, MMS/MMST/MMSU, RTSP and PNM. HiDownload is distinguished from other programs of this type by the ability to download files from rapidshare and megaupload services (Premium accounts) and the function of downloading streams broadcasted from wmv, wma, wma, asp, asx, rm, ra, rmvb, ram, smil, smi, rpm, mov, flv, pls, m3u.

The application also has the function of previewing the content of ZIP files and Internet streams before downloading them, support for cookies and proxy servers or the option of automatic renaming of files. HiDownload integrates with browsers such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape and Opera.
