Hide Folders is a small and very easy to use tool, whose task is to protect valuable data against unauthorized persons. The program is very good at protecting any number of folders, as well as individual files. Offers 4 variants of protection, allowing the user to hide, block and give the attribute 'read-only'.

The advantage of Hide Folders is the speed of action and the fact that protected data is inaccessible to other people, no matter how they would like to access it. Hide Folders supports NTFS, FAT32, exFAT and FAT volumes without limiting the maximum size of the data we want to protect. From the settings level, it allows you to define processes that are to have access to protected resources, and also prevents the loss of stability when working with data relevant to the operating system.

Importantly, the tool offers a number of useful configuration options that can be used to tailor the way it works to your preferences. For example, we can integrate most of the protection functions into Windows Explorer's context menu, configure keystroke shortcuts to them, and define the level of protection (e.g. when the screen saver is running, goes to sleep/hibernation or a specified period of inactivity).

Additionally, Hide Folders allows you to export a list of protected data and reuse it after reinstallation of the system, etc.
