Hex Workshop is one of the most popular hexadecimal editors for Windows. It has an advanced functionality that allows for low-level editing of data stored on a hard drive or other data storage (flash drive, memory card, optical media). The program is equipped with a number of functions useful during any edition of hexadecimal code.
These include options for creating, copying, cutting or pasting various code elements, advanced searching and changing any content, as well as a visualization mechanism for file content and a multi-level undo function for making changes. There were also tools for comparing code, generating checksums or HEX/DEC calculator. Hex Workshop supports the drag-and-drop method, and its developers decided to implement plug-in support, thanks to which each C/C++ programmer can extend the program's capabilities with their own functions.
The advantage of the tool is a highly configurable graphical interface, allowing you to customize the appearance of the editor to suit your preferences.
