Gems of War is a successful combination of several different game genres. You will find here elements of match-3, RPG or card titles. Infinite Interactive studio is responsible for the production, i.e.

the authors of the well-received Puzzle Quest series. Gems of War develops elements known from Puzzle Quest. The adventure begins with the creation of the hero, choosing his gender and race first.

The next step is to join a tutorial introducing to the rules of the game world. These are very similar to those we already know from the Questa Puzzle. Battles are based on the rules of match-3 games, and by combining the appropriate elements we deal damage to the opponent or use special attack.

What kind of invasion we can carry out depends on the development of our hero or currently possessed weapons. The variety of the game is the fight in the team, which we enlarge by getting the appropriate cards. During the game it is possible to change the difficulty level, which increases the experience and raises the rank of the prizes.

In the game we get something like a campaign, i.e. traveling around the map of the world we carry out further missions. There was also PvP mode, the ability to create and sign up for guilds and time events.

Gems of War is a good proposition for every lover of Puzzle Quest series and similar titles, where match-3 mechanics is only one of the many elements of good fun.
