Framsticks is a program written by Maciej Komosiński and Szymon Ulatowski, which serves as a simulator of artificial life. While working with the tools, the user creates an environment in accordance with their expectations and then fills them with organisms, which are aggregates of mechanical structures - bodies and control systems - brains. In this way, all kinds of experiments can be carried out in the field of abstract population genetics, coevolution, genotype optimisation or the relationship between genotypes and phenotypes.

Looking at the evolution of our creatures from extremely primitive forms is an effective cure for ideas such as "intelligent design", the program also scares well all kinds of creationists: theories written in words are different, and the spectacular visualization of the evolution of artificial life is different. We can easily manage all of them, and you can export your evolving creations to a file or modify them with additional tools.

Installation in Windows is very easy - a ready-made installer installs a graphic editor, a console tool and a Theatre simulator, which allows you to see a variety of visualizations of artificial life. Editions for Linux and Mac OS are devoid of a graphical editor and can be supported from the console.
