Fontographer is a useful tool for creating new and editing existing fonts, which we will be able to prepare to work on various operating systems. Thanks to this program we will not only design our own font, but also modify the designs of other users, introducing new characters to them, for example. This is not the end of the possibilities offered by Fontographer, as it also allows you to solve numerous font problems and even allows you to convert fonts from the old format to the new one.

Among the fonts supported by Fontographer you will find: Type 1, TrueType, OpenType, Type 3 and Multiple Master. The tool allows you to import fonts from 32 thousand glyphs.

The same number also applies if you want to export the font. However, please note that some formats are only available for Mac OS X.
