Foobnix is a media player that supports the most popular file formats, in particular: MP3, MP4, AAC, CD Audio, WMA, Vorbis, FLAC, WavPack, WAV, AIFF, Musepack, Speex, AU and SND. In addition to standard options such as creating your own song library and running, stopping or selecting songs, Foobnix offers a number of additional features.

The user can listen to various radio stations from all over the world, enjoy the possibility of integration with the popular last.fm streaming service and the Russian social network Vkontakte, which is not necessarily popular in our country. Interestingly, Foobnix allows you to download an add-on that will offer the ability to convert selected files to other popular formats. It is also worth mentioning that the application contains the function of adding tags to your songs, as well as displaying detailed information about the song being played and searching for similar songs.

Foobnix's user interface doesn't seem intuitive at first glance, so you need a longer time to familiarize yourself with it. However, if the layout of the main window does not entirely suit you, you can adjust its appearance to your own preferences (for example, you can add a graphical background, modify the menu style and change the position of some elements).
