FL Studio (formerly Fruity Loops) is a professional software that acts as a virtual recording studio. It combines tools for composing, arranging, recording, editing, mixing and mastering high quality music. The programme has been created continuously for over 12 years and its huge potential has been appreciated by many popular artists from Poland and all over the world.
They took their first steps with music in FL Studio such celebrities as Basshunter. There are many applications of the program, starting from creating complete songs, creating backgrounds, combining them with vocals, and ending with "polishing" and mixing ready-made projects. Despite its enormous potential, the tool is easy to use, perfectly suited for amateur and fully professional multi-channel music creation.
In the first case, ready-made templates come in handy, making it much easier to work with the program. Working with FL Studio is based on a sophisticated sequencer that supports, among others, the MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) system. After creating a new project, we can immediately start creating multi-channel melodies, backgrounds, voice recording, overlaying ready-made samples, effects, and so on.
A big advantage of the program are a lot of configuration possibilities such as speed, length of individual sounds, pitch and much, much more. FL Studio can work as a stand-alone tool, VSTi, DXi or ReWire client, offering support for ASIO and DirectSound drivers. Another advantage of the program is its open architecture, giving the possibility to freely expand its functionality.
Demo version available free of charge offers full functionality and most of the plug-ins (instruments and effects), available in full version, without time limits. Finished projects can be saved to WAV, MIDI, MP3 and OGG files. The only limitation is the lack of possibility to save the project as such, in order to process it later, mix it, etc.
