Flagfox is an interesting add-on for Firefox that provides basic information about the website you are currently visiting. They contain, among others, data about the domain, IP address and physical location of the server on which the website was launched. The extension is available in the form of an icon located in the address bar.
It takes the form of the flag of the country in which the server of the website is located. Hovering over it with your mouse cursor allows you to display a balloon with basic information about the website you are visiting. Clicking on it allows you to browse through more detailed information about the website on one of the external websites.
Among them you will find data about the entity that registered the domain, server type, SEO scores, DNS servers, etc. Flagfox makes it possible to provide data on websites based on services such as Geotool, Whois, Alex or SiteAdvisor. Additional options for this small extension include VirusTotal URL scanning, server SSL testing, pinginging, and Google Translator translation.
