FireFTP is an add-on to the Firefox web browser that allows you to connect to the selected FTP server. So we don't need to run a separate FTP client to download or place files on the server. Although FireFTP, like the Firefox browser itself, is a free extension, it has a number of very useful features.
The tool allows you to compare and synchronize individual directories, SSL encryption, data search and filtering, consistency check, drag&drop support, remote editing, as well as file checksum generation. There was also support from SFTP. FireFTP has a clear interface - on the left side we have access to files located on the computer's hard drive, while on the right side we see the contents of the FTP server, to which we are currently connected.
Between them you will find two intuitive and useful icons presented in the form of arrows - download and send. By selecting a file or directory you can put it on FTP or download it with one mouse click. It is worth adding that a user in the FireFTP add-on to Firefox browser can create several accounts and save access data to FTP servers in the application memory, so that they can log in quickly, without having to re-enter the server address, username and password.
