FireLogXP is a free program dedicated to view firewall log files - Internet Connection Firewall in Windows XP or later, Windows Firewall in Windows XP with Service Pack 2. This tool is characterized by exceptional ease of use, which is also associated with the speed of work - it greatly facilitates browsing logs, especially for novice users who may have problems with catching relevant information in the notepad, which is hard to read. In addition, the program has the ability to display details about specific ports - another plus for people with less experience in this area.

The disadvantage of the program is certainly the lack of the Polish language version and relatively small capabilities as for more advanced administrators. To enable the creation of a .log log file in Windows XP Service Pack 2, open the Control Panel, access the Windows Firewall Properties and go to the Security Logging window on the Advanced tab. There you can freely configure options for creating a log file.
