File Governor is a useful tool for unlocking files or folders that have been blocked in various circumstances by any process, application or operating system. Thanks to it, we will be able to perform basic operations on such files, such as renaming, moving to another location or deleting. The program gives the user the ability to unlock individual files, as well as numerous sets of files.

An interesting solution used in File Governor is a built-in search engine, which can effectively search for all blocked files in the folder indicated by us. It is of course possible to manually define the problematic data to be unlocked. All files searched by the tool or files indicated by the user are displayed in the main window of the program.

In addition to the file name itself, File Governor provides information about the file's PID, file type and extension, as well as the process that causes the file to be blocked. This list can be easily exported to a special log file.
