Falcon C++ is a free integrated IDE development environment for C and C++ languages. It is characterized by great lightness and simplicity of use, thus being an ideal tool for beginner programmers. The environment has been constantly developing since 2010 and is a very good alternative to the popular Dev-C++.

It concentrates only the most needed functions of the programmer, without overwhelming it with a large number of unnecessary tools at the initial stages of learning. Nevertheless, it also works well when working with larger projects, allowing you to work comfortably with multiple source files at the same time. Falcon C+++ is based on the MinGW compiler, offering most of the most important features for developers.

These include a card mechanism for working with several files in one program window, a built-in project manager, as well as more obvious options such as line numbering, syntax highlighting for C and C++, hint and autofill options, code templates and many others. With the help of Falcon C+++ we can work on simple console programs, applications with a graphical interface and static and dynamic libraries. The environment is equipped with package support, including so-called devpacks and project templates.

There were also many configuration options, with the help of which we can adjust, among others, IDE colours to our own preferences. Falcon C++ despite the lack of the Polish language version should not cause any problems with support.
