EMCO UnLock IT is a useful tool when our work is interrupted by an irremovable file or folder that is used by another application or service. With this software we will identify the problematic process. The program is able to detect which applications, processes or services block a selected file or folder in many ways, while providing relevant information.

Among them you will find the PID, the name of the application, the path to its executive file, and the right mouse button will allow you to reach the next options. You will find there the ability to kill the process/application, close only selected threads, open a location in Windows Explorer, enable a more detailed list of information and a search engine. The program can be operated in two ways.

The first one is, of course, the application window itself, from which we can point to a blocked file or folder - although this option until you ask for support for the "drag and drop" method, which, unfortunately, is not supported. The second option is the context menu, thanks to the fact that EMCO UnLock IT integrates seamlessly with the system and offers easy access to applications from this menu. So you just need to right-click on a troublesome file and choose the appropriate option.
